Can you provide more info in how this has been updated from version 2 please. In what way has it been tided up? What exactly is new? If I have version 2 and I add the errata and new update am I up to date with the Furnace edition?

If you download the Errata and the Update Pdf you are upto date with the Furnace Edition.
The Update adds 16 pages of new content ; a new appendix with some optional rules (Ready made concepts, Sea ships and more) and a new adventure.
